It all began with a kiss.

Happy Anniversary Darling! More than yesterday and less than tomorrow... I Love You!

In my next life I'm going to be a Yard Woman

Dear BITCHY Property Manager of My Fancy Gated Community,

I'm writing this letter to Thank you for the nasty letter you recently mailed.

You stated that "my lawn is in need of some attention." My first thought was to tell you that if you have nothing better to do than worry about MY LAWN then YOU "are in need of some attention."

Then I remembered that this is a thank you letter....

This morning I awoke at 7:00 a.m., made coffee, walked Lola, and then got busy. By 8:00 a.m. I felt like a new woman. Yard work is very therapeutic! I don't currently see a therapist, but if in the future I decide I need one I won't bother. I will simply pick up my gloves and clippers and go to town. You saved me hundreds between not hiring a lawn man and not paying a shrink! Thank you!

I cracked open a cold beer at 10:00 a.m. while waiting for my Father to arrive to help. Who knew beer tasted so good at 10:00 a.m.? Again, thank you!

Dad and I spent some good quality time, got some sun, burned a ton of calories, drank a beer, and the yard looks great, all because of YOU!!

So, Thank you BITCHY Property Manager for helping me save money, clear my head, bond with Dad, get a tan, stay skinny, and feel great all before 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon! YOU ROCK!

Time to go lay by the pool and take a nap.

Could you send me a letter next week about my garage needing attention? Please.

Yours Truly,

The tan skinny bitch who WILL have the nicest yard on the block (eventually)

Are celebrities IDIOTS or what???

Another celebrity DUI. Shocker!!! What the hell is wrong with these people?? They have unlimited cash flow. Hire a damn driver! Maybe Lindsey, Keifer, Richie, Britney and Paris should all chip in, buy a bus, and hire a driver. LA would be a much safer place!!

Some call them In-Laws...I call them Out-Laws

Lord knows marriage can be tough at times!

We have daily concerns...Laundry, dinner, work, housework, etc... We have monthly concerns mortgage, bills, etc... Recently, I have discovered that my Out-Laws (father-in-law not included as he passed in 2004 and was a WONDERFUL man) have become a big problem. Possibly a lifelong concern.

My MIL is a very bitter woman. Divorced and never remarried, overweight, a victim in this world, and spends way to much time interfering with my husband's life. My BIL thinks he walks on water and is quick to judge everyone. As he is BETTER than all of us. Even his own sister calls him "Father Superior".

Can anyone offer advice on Out-Laws? I simply can't deal with these people sometimes. It's hard to believe that my husband is part of this family.

You just never know...

Been out of the blogging world for a couple of days (other than reading my favorites to lift my spirits). A family friend passed unexpectedly on Tuesday night. Leaving behind a beautiful wife and two amazing children.

It makes you think....

You just never know when it is your last day.

On that note, I am making it a point to live each day as if it is my last (I don't always treat each day as precious as it is).

That's all I have.

Time to go hug my husband, my dog, and take a soak in the hot tub.
