The Christmas Cards...
Are beginning to roll in.
They look different this year.
Not only are they addressed to only ME.
They are addressed to MS. ME.
So, not only have I lost my husband and occasionally my mind this year.
I lost my damn R too!
I liked MRS.
Can't I just keep it and tell people the "R" is silent?

Awe, sorry girl! R or no R you got 5 trees and Christmas cards flowing in.
Technically, etiquettely speaking (traditional etiquette,) you can still be Mrs...
But that was when I was younger- nearly a thousand years ago- and women collected alimony. Giving up Mrs. was like giving up the income and some imagined social prestige.
If you are Mrs now it might be confusing or down right off limits to someone down the line who might be Mr.Right and I don't think HE will be someone who ignores Mrs and goes after her anyway.
You want honesty and the right perception out there.
There's no doubt in my mind you'll get the R again.
It's hard, we are here for you!
Let's see where you are in a year and better yet 5 years- we'll be smiling!
